Sunday: Jesus Helps Us With our Doubts

The disciples tell Thomas they saw Jesus—alive—after he’d died! Thomas doesn’t believe them. He says he needs to see and feel Jesus’ wounds to confirm that Jesus is real. Jesus appears, and Thomas believes. Even though we can’t see Jesus, we can trust that Jesus is real. (John 20:24-29)

Here’s a video of the story we’ll be exploring in our Digging into the Bible in One Year lesson in Kids’ Church today at 11:30:

Our Bible Verse this Week: REVIEW – Philippians 2:1-4

We’re reviewingPhilippians 2:1-4 today. When you’re ready, you can say all four verses to me from memory!

1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Philippians 2:1-4

Remember this week: Jesus is real!
