Sunday: Jesus Trusts Us to Do What He Can Do

Kids’ Church 11:30 am -12:30 pm EST

In Kids’ Church today we will learn how Jesus gives his disciples authority to do the amazing miracles he’s been doing. He gives them a pep talk and encourages them to carry his message to anyone who’ll hear it, to endure persecution, and to love him more than anything. Jesus equipped them, and he equips us (Matthew 10)! JESUS TRUSTS US TO DO WHAT HE CAN DO.

Here you can watch the story we’ll be exploring today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPLp1bFoEhs

Our Bible Verse this Week: Philippians 2:2a

We’re starting to learn Philippians 2:1-4. Each week I’ll bold the part of the passage that we’re learning. Then at the end you can say all four verses to me!

1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Philippians 2:1-4

Remember this week: Jesus trusts us to do what he can do!
