We’ve come to the last of the seven “I AM’s of Jesus: “I am the Vine.”
Now here’s the challenge. If you memorize all 7 “I AM” verses and say them to me directly or send a video of you saying them (you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org), I will bring a special prize to your house – a tub of whatever kind of ice cream you like best! (or another treat if you can’t have ice cream or don’t like it!)
The deadline is Sunday, July 12th!
Here are the 7 “I Am” statements of Jesus for you to memorize:
I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35)
I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. (John 8:12)
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10: 11)
I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die. (John 11:25)
I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)
