Remember last week I challenged you to learn the I AM’s of Jesus that we have talked about so far? Here’s the fifth I AM:
The challenge is still on! See if you can memorize all five verses and then have your mom record you saying them. Send the recording to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will include an extra prize for you in the Sunday School Supplies package we’ll be dropping off at your house next week. (Or if you’re not part of TCAC, then write me your address and I’ll send you a prize.)
Here are the 5 “I Am” statements of Jesus that we have learned so far:
I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35)
I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. (John 8:12)
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10: 11)
I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die. (John 11:25)
