We’re over half way through the seven “I am” statements of Jesus in John! Here they are:
I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35)
I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. (John 8:12)
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10: 11)
Here’s the challenge for today: See if you can memorize all four verses and then have your mom record you saying them. Send the recording to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will include an extra prize for you in the Sunday School Supplies package we’ll be dropping off at your house in the next couple of weeks! (Or if you’re not part of TCAC, then write me your address and I’ll send you a prize.)
(Hint: We’ll do this again after the 7th week, too, so if you learn these four now it’ll be much easier after week 7!)

Each day from Sunday to Friday we give you a clue to a person in the Bible. Then on Saturday we give you the answer!
Here’s the last clue to this week’s Bible “Who Am I?” riddle:
6. I went from prison to the palace, forgave my brothers, and saved my family from famine and death.
