Holy Monday: Jesus is the Bread of Life!

Today you can bake bread as a family and discuss how Jesus is the Bread of Life. Just as bread gives us nutrition and sustains us physically, Jesus offers us eternal life and sustains us spiritually.

When the bread is baked, let it cool, then put it in a basket. Add some Easter goodies and at least one item that shares the Easter message, such as a bookmark or Bible verse. Deliver the basket to a neighbour or someone else who may need an extra dose of kindness this week.

Before you deliver the basket, take a picture of it and send it to us at kidsministry@tcaconline.ca and we’ll post it at the bottom of the page!

Use the recipe below or substitute with a family favourite.

This idea is from Focus on the Family’s “Walking Through Holy Week.” https://www.focusonthefamily.com/faith/easter-walking-through-holy-week/

Fresh Bread! Congratulations!

“Who Am I?” Game

Here’s the second clue to this week’s Bible “Who Am I?” riddle:

2. “I wanted to rule right next to Jesus when He became king.
