God is our Refuge and Strength

Our memory passage this week is Psalm 46: 1-3, 7. Let’s memorize it together!

To help you memorize, you could do one or more of these activities:

  1. Make up actions for the key words and do the actions as you say the verses.
  2. Write the verses on paper and then draw and colour pictures that show the meaning of the verses.
  3. Type the verses on the computer, find pictures that show the meaning of the verses, and add the pictures to the document as illustrations for the verses.

If you would like to see your work “published,” send us a photo of what you’ve created to kidsministry@tcaconline.org, and we’ll add the photos below!

Psalm 46: 1-3, 7

God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
    and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
    and the mountains quake with their surging.

The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.
